Vintage Craftsman long C toolbox find

I don't often post here, but I just have to show off what I found this weekend. I was in Abingdon Va this weekend for my brothers wedding. I stopped by a flea market Friday and spotted this in a booth that was closed. Went back Saturday morning still closed. Closed again Sunday morning. I left a note for the dealer to call me. I had been on the interstate for an hour heading home when he called. My brother hadn't left for honeymoon yet and my parents were still there. He went and bought and loaded in my parents car for the trip home. It was a family effort to get this. No key but has the tray that sits in top. Anyone have an accurate date for this box? Guessing 1930's. Manufactured by Kennedy? Paid $125 didn't even try to negotiate.

Nice pick up. I believe 1930s would be correct for that logo. Amazing condition for its age.

Wow. That is a fantastic find and at $125, you did very well!

I don't think Kennedy made Craftsman boxes during that era. I'm not sure who did. Perhaps Pressteel?
