I have some old jack stands that I can't find any informed on.
They are 19" tall when fully extended. 12" tall when collapsed.
They only have 2 identification marks. The numbers CS266 and CS2.65. There is also a "W" stamp.
I am going to guess that they came with an old vehicle as an accessory to the Jack. They are if decent quality but are not what I would consider heavy duty. I would trust a modern 3 ton jack stand over these. Though I would trust these with a compact car. The latching of the paw is very positive with a deep engagement.
The locking paw is unique in that it is spring loaded instead of gravity with modern jack stands. You squeeze the bottom of the mechanism to release the paw.
The paw, upper extention and numbered collar are all cast. The tube and base are stamped steel with the tube being welded on the underneath side.
Any ideas on a brand, year, or any other information?
