I picked up this Kennedy two piece toolbox today for $60. He wanted $150 but because of the condition of them and it was missing the two bottom drawers i offered $60 and he tool it. Getting it home was a ***** with my compact car. The bottom had to go in the front seat and i had to put my seat all the way back and it was sticking part way into my seat. Do you guys think it was a good deal? I liked the drawer layout on this box that is why i got it. It is a lot better then my other boxes.

I am going to use it. I like the smaller drawer layout better then my other two piece tool boxes. I am going to be selling my other ones and keeping this one. All the drawers slide pretty good and once i lube them up they should slide very nice.

For 60 bucks, you got a fair deal and so did the seller. If nothing needs replacing, you're likely to be into the box another 20 bucks in materials for restoration.

I would pay 60 bucks for this setup all day long because it's a really nice looking setup.

Decent find. I'd wipe it down with WD40 and put it to work. Unless one loves grunt work, restoring a Kennedy is a money-and-time pit.

I think for now i am just going to give it a wipe down and lube up the drawers. I think i am going to sell my two piece snap-on one and keep this one. The snap-on one has drawer dividers that make it real difficult to put my tools in it.
