Vintage MAC Toolbox MB520

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to restore an old MAC box that I got from my dad. From all the pictures I have found on here it looks to be a MB520. It feels like it has about 20 coats of paint on it so so I cant see if it has a date stamp on it anywhere. A few of the spring clips are broken and it is missing the lock so i am looking for those 2 things. Also the sliders on the sides that lock the drawers was froze up. After a little oil and working them i have got them sliding pretty good. I am not sure on how the middle drawer locks all the other drawers. There is a rod in the top that looks like it had a nut on it once upon a time but I dont see anything that it would bolt to. Im guessing that rod has something to do with locking all the drawers. Would anyone have any info or pictures of how that setup works or any links to the parts I am looking for?

Yes indeed they do. I am at work and was going to add pictures when I got home this evening. I just wanted to go ahead and post as maybe some might have been familiar with what I was talking about but yes pictures will be added tonight.
