Yah... if i had that info i would have included it...
Your ford is easy... you said four door and ford... its not worth anything....

If you google "vintage matco 10 drawer chest top" its like the first image . If i were to guess... 30-33ish wide... 16 deep...

That is a MB910, depending on condition, but in the ~$100-$200 range typically. There has been one listed here that is in good used condition for $250 for a long time. Obviously the price is too high. Can also depend on location. 33" boxes have a smaller market than 26" boxes.

The older Matco are as well made as anything this side of a true road chest. Having said that, there is a limited market for older top chests.

For whatever reason, the young guys are convinced if a box doesn't have ball bearing slides and grip lock latches, it is not worth having.

Im sort of an old fart... thinking the relatively small/short drawers will work for my calipers, dial indicators...etc..

Its a little rougher than I was expecting. lock has been changed and one of the top links that keep the top from opening to far is broke. wants $100... I'm on the fence about it...

If anyone knows of the value of the Matco boxes it's zkling. Last I knew he was amassing a database of those type of boxes.
I have the 910 along with the middle and bottom boxes. Absolutely love them. Rock solid.
Price will depend upon condition. If it's "mint"...$250. Lower condition...depends upon how much work it will take to get it up to your satisfaction. Will you need to paint it (whew...good luck) or is lubricating the slides enough? Currently, I'm searching for the matching side box and am pretty much willing to to over spend and drive a bit to get it. So it's about what you're willing to pay.

Looks like it needs paint, but all intact would pay $100 for it.

If you need a box and want that specific model I guess it is OK as long as none of the drawer slide channels are worn out and or it is not rusted out internally. I'm personally not a fan of twin drawer pulls.

On the other hand if you are just casually looking for a box, I'd pass.

Matco is made in USA a million times better than china garbage.

Don't be so foolish. I'd much rather have new HF china over completely worn out old Matco USA.

I've bought top and bottom combinations of old Sears Craftsman for $50 and $75 in about that same condition (maybe a little better) and they do everything I want for the money. That's where my money is...

$50 tops. The wider version of that box (40"?) in much nicer shape was on the local classifieds with the matching roller for $300 late last year, I tried talking the guy down after it sat a few weeks but no joy so I passed.

$100 to high $50 if the slides work. I had the top and bottom like that for 16 years. Great box. Gave $800 for it sold it for $600 16 years later. $200 "rent" wasn't bad at all.

The seller is stuck at 100. It was used as a truck box the last few years and it is filthy inside. I thought if he would work with me some on the price I might pick it up to restore. Not going to happen which is ok, not like I don't have enough jobs to do already...

Thanks for every ones opinions and thoughts

If by truck box you mean installed in a service truck, that would be another reason to pass. Bouncing down the road is hell on a non road designed box. Keep looking.
