I have This R 716 1/2" ratcheting box end wrench. It is designed like the ratchets from the 30's-60's era. I can't find any info.
I'd like to list it for sale , but not sure of the age or value.
Any one seen one before , or have a catalog listing
Thanks
Roy

Have you tried alloy artifacts? I usually have good luck trying to find info here: home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/‎

Yes I did , they show the ratchets that are the same shape and style , but I couldn't find this. Perhaps I'm not doing the search with the right request.
thanks

Thanks - Just the R in front of 716--I'm assuming they use the R on all ratcheting box.
Looks like you found it for me---1937
Now I'll have to decide a value.
Thanks again

Ah! So confusing. So as early as 1937 and as late as 1980.
Odd I haven't seen one before. I shopped the trucks for 47 years when
I was doing this for a living. Probably to pricey and I ignored them.
Thanks for your help
AA does say the ratchets of this style were made up into the 60's.

I used this site and the search tab-not 100% sure on the dates.

Thanks Frank Lee , no home run here. Still a neat wrench.
Thanks to all for the great responses.
I guess it shows , just because you haven't seen one , it doesn't mean it's rare.
