At $15 retail, I doubt that they're made here in the USA. Irwin owns Vise-Grip (I think) and I've seen a lot of their stuff labeled "made in Taiwan" or "made in China."

Now, from a quality standpoint, I've seen some nice stuff come out of Taiwan. It just doesn't do us much good from a "Made in USA" standpoint, though.

I was sorta thinkin the same thing, but retial ona pair of needle nose is also $15 which is kinda steep dont ya think?

Ill look into it more

If it's got a "Vise-Grips" name on it, I'd expect it to be pretty good quality. I've never managed to break one of their products.

Years ago I bought some "cheapy" Taiwan lookalikes..what a mistake!

Ok... this is the second time in as many days that the "Made in USA" issue has come up.

Who makes truly, 100%, Made in the USA products? Not made overseas, and finished (with a coat of something silvery) here. It doesn't have to be 100% all-American materials, but certainly a bona-fide American-made product.

Perhaps this needs to be its own thread....
