I know there have been a few threads on Walker jack rebuilds, but it seems like most rebuilders have had access to a powerful impact wrench.
Has anyone had luck with using a modified socket and a breaker bar? Or would it be cost effective to take the pump to a machine shop and have them crack the tank nut?
I called some hydraulic shops around me (Philadelphia) and they said it's not worth repairing my old J-122. But it seems from others on this forum that it is definitely worth it. Is there a tool, besides a homemade one, that anyone has had success with?
Thanks in advance.
