Walker-Turner drill press

I have a vintage Walker-Turner drill press that is in need of new bushings for the chuck shaft. It is a 1/2" bench model, made by Walker Turner Machine Tools, Plainfield New Jersey. Any ideas where I might find them?

Welcome, a lot of WT stuff used special proprietary bearings. Might try the parts source listed here http://vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=808
If that doesn't work out, ask over on OWWM.org, I'm sure someone there will know.

Do a search on practicalmachinist.com .. I've not looked for Walker Turner stuff on there, but if its there, there will be plenty of info and people willing to help.

Send a note to Joe at Plazamachine.com.. He is hard to get ahold of but he probably knows if / who might have WT parts around or knows someone who might be able to help..
