Hi all,
My trade is propbuilder but these days I'd much rather play with cars. I build fake stuff and special effects for stage productions and some film...mostly copies of antique furniture that has to take the abuse of being on stage. Occasionally there is mechanical job...I've built a few electric cars that drive around the stage.
British sportscars are my love at the moment. I fixed up a Triumph TR6 a few years ago....lots of welding, first time doing bodywork etc, and had such a good time I dragged home a '65 MGB and stripped her to a bare shell. This summer saw my first engine build...still haven't started it so I don't know how good of a job I did!
