Final update for the haters

Repurposed an old welding cart I made a long time ago. Back half will be for drain pan and funnel storage. Done.

I like your setup. I'm kind of going to opposite way. I have a wire rack mounted to the wall, think it was made for fruit on the counter. Throw my funnels in there and used filters to drain. Also have a spot above it for drain pans to hang and drain. Under the wire rack I have one of this square drain pans to catch the oil that drops from the wire shelf, also use the square drain pan for things like trans fluid when I pull a pan without a drain. https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-17892-Transmission-Drain-Pan/dp/B0002SR6WA/?tag=atomicindus08-20. This drains into a bucket with a wide mouth funnel. I'm thinking about redoing a few things and making a drain out of PVC that drains into buckets or thinking about using old 5 gallon gas cans that I have a bunch of extra ones. Once pails are full I switch it out and when I have a few I take them to dispose of.

I've thought about doing something like you did but couldn't come up with an idea for a setup that would work for me. Still have to store the 5 gallon pails or whatever you are using to take it to dispose of anyway. In the end I just went with the setup I have now and works decent.

Glad you're happy, looks like more trouble then a 5 gallon bucket and an occasional trip to the parts store to dump it would be.
