The only watch I own and wear is a Sub, and it's nice to have one watch that is durable and looks decent no matter when/where you're wearing it. The look is classic, and no matter how common they are, they still look cool without being gawdy. The only other watch I'd like would be a Daytona. Being just my luck, the jewelry store I bought my Sub got a new stainless Daytona a couple weeks after I bought mine. They gave me first dibs, I went to check it out, but couldn't justify spending that money after I just got a Sub. The Daytona was nice, but I actually like the bezel on the Sub a bit better, and didn't like how flat the Daytona looked. May be nice when wearing it under a driver's suit, but what's the point of wearing a Rolex when racing, anyway?
The stainless on mine has scratched some, and have a very small nick on magnifier over the date, but otherwise the lens looks brand new. I guess they can polish the stainless when I send it in for service, so I guess the scratches aren't a big deal. I'm impressed for how often I wear it and abuse it.
