Seems lately many have asked this or that regarding welding machines and are looking for deals. I found this deal today on the Grainger website:

Anyone here have one of these? Of does anyone know how this stacks up to a Hobart Handler 187 or Lincoln 180 Pro at less than half the price?

Wow! That is one hell of a deal. Thermadyne doesn't make junk, and the shipping weight is 99 pounds. A quality 220V MIG unit with regulator and all. If I hadn't recently gotten a new welder, I would be all over this.

That is a good deal, I would definitely consider buying that machine. I have been looking at the larger units and have been very impressed with them.

I love that Thermadyne purple; however, I haven't had a chance to try one of their machines though.
