I think I may have made a mistake. I ran 10 gauge wire (actually 3 wire because I had some left over) for my welder supply. It's a Miller sincrowave 185 tig/stick welder. I thought for sure that was what I used in the old shop..10 ga.
I looked at the back of the welder, and I see 52 amps 220V. Whoh! 52 amps? Really? I gotta be goofy here don't I? Do I really need like #6 wire? I don't even think I have seen a Homeline 60A breaker, although I have never looked.
