Welding Table Rehab

I am starting to rehab my welding table. I hope to make it a little prettier and a lot more functional. The table is 30" deep 56" wide and 34" tall (with casters). The top is 1 1/4" solid and the legs are 4 x 4 x probably thick square tubing.

This table came from a scrap yard about 8 years ago, I think I paid $20 for it. I bought another one and a couple of table tops with it. Sold by the pound. The other table is smaller and we will leave it for another rehab story. It was outside for quite a while. It collected water on the legs one of them actually expanded! So it actually has three square legs and one round leg. Now that it is upside down, water from ancient times is creeping out of the legs. I had to bust out my imitation sham-wows to soak up the water! More to come.
