Welding without safety gear, gloves, leathers.

Hi. This is a pet pive of mine. See lot's of guy's tack weld without helment or gloves. This is just a bad example to our new welder's out in spark land. There is nothing that hurt's worst then a 3rd degree burn, arc flash burnt eyes. Hot spark's will stick to you like glue, wear leathers. Done venting. James

A smart guy once explained this sort of behavior to me. He said "Everybody does their own risk / benefit analysis. It's like when a person runs across a street instead of waiting for the light. They figured that the benefit of crossing the road earlier was worth the risk of being killed by a car."
