West raft flex head 3/8 ratchet

Hey everyone!

I picked up this old Westcraft 3/8 flex head with a group of other tools from a flea market. I was hoping it was locked up from dried of grease and grime.. no such luck! Unfortunately the pawl is broken in half.. does anyone know what other brand ratchets might have the same head design? I would like to find a crusty, bent, or broken ratchet with good internals to swap in this one.

It's a cool old-school design, and I hate to give up on it just yet.. I haven't come across another Westcraft ratchets in my "travels" yet.. Any insight is appreciated!

Champion aviation service tools by kel-strom is the last place I saw this style of ratchet unsure if they are still the same as far as interchange but not sure they service head kit

You can still find some new old stock out there, even though Duro-Indestro has been gone for over 30 years - EBay link

Just a caution - I think there may have been both a 52 and 60 tooth version.

Your ratchet was manufactured by Duro-Indestro in Chicago.
It is the equivalent of their model 2736A (6-point star selector wheel, 60-tooth)(flex-head)
it uses the same internal mechanism as their 2775A (6-point star selector wheel, 60-tooth)

The earlier version was the 2736 (3-point selector knob on back, 52-tooth)(flex-head)
it used the same internal mechanism as their 2775 (3-point selector knob on back, 52-tooth)

I do not know if the internal mechanisms (between the 52-tooth and 60-tooth models) are interchangeable - I've never tried it.
