I keep seeing these bad *** looking work benches pop up on the govt auction sites listed about an hour from my house. I can't find any real website or company that carries this off brand and I find it strange that they are always in new condition.

Has anyone heard of this brand or is it just Chinese made **** they somehow talked the govt into buying?

Here is the company's website.

It looks like knockoff of Bad *** Workbench and Dragon Fire Tools.

Looks like an auction staple. Damaged perhaps in transit and it's cheaper to just sell them at auction? That would be my guess. Once inspected state side, what else would you do with it?

Those Chinese workbenches and tension fabric shelters show up at 1 regional and 1 international auction every month. I would buy the benchtop toolboxes just because they are cheap, and if I ever get my "retirement" shop up on the farm I will probably do so. However: I have a lot of experience designing, building, erecting and living with tensioned fabric structures and would be a bit hesitant to buy the Chinese stuff - unless desperate for some short time, cheap shelter. Good TF needs to be pretty rigid and the latest cover materials are fairly expensive but will stand the weather for decades.

I see similar stuff at the local farm auction all the time. Like every single auction. Haven't looked at one in about 6 months, so not sure if anything has changed with the latest chinese trade environment....

Just an arm of the Richie brothers auction business. They are not a government entity but at times sell surplus items and a lot of import stuff.

Interesting! Never heard of that site before. I always look at the Red River Army Depot for deals since its not far from my house. I am mostly looking for Vidmar cabinets and I keep finding those **** boxes! Lately I have found a few Vidmars down by San Antonio but those go high!
