what size breaker for this?

I'm having a guy run 50 amp. Service to the garage.. I want to get a welder, this one Is 220 volt which I will have an outlet for with a 30 amp breaker for my air compressor.. Can someone read the specs to this and tell me what size breaker I'll need?

Looks like it draws 24 amps max, so go with a 30 amp circuit.

Just out of curiosity, how/why did you settle on 50A? That's a fairly unusual size for a sub-panel feed, either 60A or 90A being far more common.

Regardless of any other considerations, the compressor and the welder should each have their own dedicated branch circuits.

It's right there in the manual, which is downloadble from the H.F. web site:

Power Input 240 VAC, 24 A

Hence, a 30A breaker would be called for, along with appropriate wiring.

HOWEVER... Are you absolutely certain that is the welder you want? If you change your mind, the circuit requirements might also change.

In my House, I think the Garage feeder breaker in the main panel is 60 amp?
I have a 6 circuit load panel that I think has a 50 amp main breaker?

I dont know we have 100 in the house and we settled on 50.. Right now its at 15 so I'll be happy with 50
