Hi all, I'm new to Garage Journal. I'm in the process of building a new 40x50 shop and couldn't be more excited. I'm getting closer to laying the cement and want to reinforce the area where I want a 2 post lift. I'm conflicted on the lift location. At first I was going to place it in the back of the garage, as far back as I could go. Now I'm thinking I want it in front of one of the doors so the back of the garage could be used for other things or storage. I'm thinking if I use the back, then everything in between the lift and the door is wasted space?
Anybody's thoughts? What are the advantages or disadvantages to either set up?
