Which abrasive blaster for my 100cfm compressor?

I just bought a towable 100cfm compressor and I am looking for a decent pot blaster. Will be used for hobby on auto panels, frames, trailers, tractors, etc. looking to run a 1/4 nozzle. I am open to purchasing used or new. I do not want cheap Harbor Freight junk and I cant afford a 4k clemco set up. I do want something quality that will last. Can I get something to fit my needs for under 1k? May be able to increase $ to say around 1500 if need be but would love to stay as cheap as I can to get the tool to fit my needs. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Any advise on which brands? Been looking on craigslist for around 3 months and it seems most of the stuff within 3 hours of bowling green, ky is either cheap-o HF type stuff or 2k plus used. I am not sure which features to look for that show quality, what to avoid, etc. I did find a guy with an older Truman San Blaster. Its a model 200 (guessing that means its 200lbs?) but havent been able to find any info on it. Whats a fair price on the used commercial units?

Look into ebay listings that have local pickup and are close to you. I like clemco because that's what I used. Parts are easy to get and plentiful. The only problem I see is worn hoses and connections. They add up quickly, so also source them on ebay when the time comes. Also make sure your unit comes with a real dead man switch that pinches the hose or has a valve at the pot.

Clemco, be patient something within a few hours drive will show up. The 2K set up, offer 1500. With that cfm you should be looking at 1/2" at least.

I want to use a 1/4" nozzle which will flow between 80-100cfm. I think the hose is 3/4". I am trying to be patient and dont mind a drive but after 3 months of nothing to even go look at I am growing impatient about waiting for a commercial unit and thought others would chime in about a good quality item in my price range. I wasnt sure if something like a brut would meet my needs. I havent found anything below 2k and most have been more in the 3k range which I could not justify given my use.

I have a P.K. Lindsay. Good quality and parts are available. May be able to find one a little cheaper than Clemco

Oh don't forget a good hood and other things, that's going to be some bucks to add on.

You could always put a want ad on craigslist, you just never know.

Look at rental centers. part of it is its rather small. Its great but a good share of rental is 2x.
