Which Chainsaw File Brand?

I'm planning to get a simple round 3/16" hand file next time I run to town to sharpen/touch up my saw blade between fill ups, but I tend to overthink everything so here I am lol... I am somewhat limited on brand choices in my area and I don't really want to order online and pay shipping since I'm hoping to keep this around or under $15. My choices include Stihl, Oregon, Husqvarna, Trilink, and CountyLine. I'm running a Stihl yellow link full chisel chain that sees occasional use. Which brand would you choose given the circumstances? Thanks in advance!

^ currently Pferd is most likely the premium file maker worldwide, followed by a couple European makers (Switzerland, Portugal.)

I'd buy whatever Cripe Distributing has on sale this week. He had a mess of NOS Nicholson - some U.S., some Mexico - last time I bought files from them. (Order through their website and sign up so you get the discount.)

Remember that the only way to save money at Cripe is to buy a whole bunch of stuff and have them combine freight - put it IN the cart and ask them for an invoice before paying!

I buy bulk Stihl Carbide cutter chain (cheaper that way) and roll my own. Sharpening isn't easy, but I now have a dedicated Dremel, so that fixes that.
I still get the Oregon branded Nicholson chain files but mostly for my oddball saws.

I have Stihl files as well.

Just make sure you use the correct size file on the chain. I know someone who used the wrong size file once.

It's a .325" Stihl chain, which specifies a 3/16" file.

I believe Stihl's round files are manufactured by Pferd.

I used Oregon files when I was cutting a lot of wood, when we heated with wood.
