Hi everyone,
After doing much research I am going to put down an epoxy-coat system on the garage floor.
As some of you know, the system does not recommend a clear topcoat, but I want to to seal the chips and add an additional protective layer.
After researching, I have found the (2) products below to be the best available locally. I believe both are 2-part aliphatic urethanes.
Opinions of which one I should go for as a clear topcoat?
Option 1: PPG Pitthane ultra: go to www.pittsburghpaints.com and on the top right you will see a link for "MSDS/Datasheets". When the popup opens, search by "product code" and enter "95-8500", and click on "TDB" to open up the data sheet.
Option 2: Florock (www.florock.net) Florothane CRU 420
Direct product data sheet link:
http://www.florock.net/pdfs/Florothane_CRrev3.pdf
Pricing is essentially equal for my SQF area to be covered.
Any opinions are appreciated, and if you can think of a better product I might be able to obtain locally I may be open to ideas...
Thanks in advance!
