Which Radiant Tube Brand?

So I've decided to heat the garage with an infrared radiant tube system. I have a completely vaulted ceilings, so mount heigh is not an issue (its ~18' at the peak). Can be up to 20' long. I have astro foil radiant insulation, so I'm not sure exactly how many BTUs I really need. I've done a few heat loss calcs and they come up between 50-100k BTUs (none seem to account for radiant insulation like astro foil). I am thinking that ~80k BTUs should be good. Ideally I'd like a 2 stage unit.

Detroit Radiant, Schwank, MrHeater, Superior Radiant, Space-ray, or any other brand...any suggestions?

I have 2 Sun-ray brand heaters and have had great luck with them.

1 - 30Ft 75K
1 - 20ft 50K

Worked well for a year now for me. Last winter was a tough one and I was happy.

I think it comes down to cost. Does anyone local carry a brand you are willing to buy, and how long can you wait for it? When I bought my reverberay (detroit radiant) there was a month and a half wait, but they had the one I wanted.

+1 on 2 stage if you can find one that fits your needs. maybe get a 60/100 unit.

Space-Ray is a commercial quality product that I have used successfully in the past.

Pay particular attention to the placement (height, angle, etc.) of the assembly. This can make all the difference in a successful installation

Have you looked the robert gordon line of radiant heaters. Have installed quite a few with out any call backs
