Here's pics of the Dewalt & Proto ASD...

Teeth, notch, whatever...Not smooth...
Bottom pic is correct. Looks like one of mine. If you run a fingernail over those notches, it won't catch. The notches are rounded smooth. May not look that way in that pic, but they are.

In contrast, for example, Wright Grip or even Williams Supercombo, a fingernail will catch. I have one of each.

The top pic is not that of a Proto or Dewalt wrench as far as not only comparing mine, but pix of other Proto wrenches as well. The beam/stem doesn't look like either make as well. Yes I see someone labeled it in red as "ASD", but it doesn't look like any of the others known to be true ASD open ends.

RealToolReviews did a test a couple years ago that showed that the WrightGrip held tighter than even the mighty Snap-On in an objective test: Snap-on VS Wright Tool (Flank Drive Plus VS WrightGRIP) Link

Not really sure how anyone might have got that the WrightGrip 'held tighter' than the Snap On from that video. The wrenches both performed identical to each other in that test.
