I live in Fremont now. It is located 20 minutes west of Appleton, or one hour south west of Green Bay.

I see you received a heart? Whats your story? If you don't mind me asking.

I was very fortunate having only been on the transplant waiting list for 11 months. I was born with a congential atrial septal heart defect (when the chambers of the heart have holes between the them and blood/oxygen cannot be pumped forward) back in 62. This went undiagnosed until I was 12 years old at which time I had a first open heart surgery. Fast forward 20+ years at 33 was diagnosed with a leaking mitral valve. Second open heart surgery takes place mechanical/st Jude valve installed. Fast forward 15 years heart is so overworked and ineffiecient grows to the size of a basketball and experiencing continual congestive heart failure. Multiple hospital stays/mini vacations and placement onto the organ transplant list. Almost forgot to mention multiple pacemaker/defribrillator installs and removal along the way. By the grace of God received a phone call at 2:30AM asking me if I was ready as they had found a suitable donor heart. There was another gentleman on the list they had been calling for over an hour. He never answered his phone. I was the next in line. This took place at St Lukes in Milwaukee. There is actually alot of details I've left out but it is a truly inspiring story someday I'll post the long version.

Now aren't you glad you asked :bounce:
