Bahco 9035 the same basic wrench as Snap on ADHW12A?

Looking for wide mouth, fairly thin jaw for stuff like hydraulic fittings.

Used a Snap On one a few weeks ago, fit on a 2" hydraulic fitting which was handy vs getting a huge adjustable.

I despise adjustable wrenches. That is until I bought the Bahco 9029/9031/9033/9035. These are great for hydraulic fittings with the 9031 being my favorite. I grab them a lot for a backup wrench because they are easier to fit in tight spaces verses the correct combination wrench. I got mine through Zoro on one of their 20% off sales. I liked the first ones enough I bought a set for the shop box and service truck.

I have a couple Snap on at work. Couldn't bring myself to buy the whole set. Bought the biggest and smallest. They are awesome. The dimensions of the openings cross paths so it does give me all the access of the whole set. I had a channel lock wide azz I believe they called it, that I picked up at a yard sale that was somewhere on between. I would say the quality of it was on par with the Snap on ones for what I used it for. It was handy as heck when I was a road mechanic for hydraulic fittings and such.

I strongly dislike adjustable wrenches and I have a pile of Proto's in a drawer that rarely come out. One whim I bought a couple of the smaller Channellock (Irega?) and was actually rather impressed with them. I still harbor my disdain for adjustable wrenchers, in general, but I do believe the Channellock are an upgrade to the older style Proto (WF?) in my drawer.

I just purchased this one.

FUJIYA Tools, FLS-53G-F, Short Adjustable Wrench with Grip

I haven't used it yet, but it had great reviews and it seems to be of decent quality, for what it is.

I use the heck out of adjustable. So much easier to keep 1 or 2 wrenches in equipment vs whole wrench sets.
Or walking out to something with 5lbs of tools vs 40.

I used the 8" Channellock wide jaw quite often for hydraulics. It'd fit an 1-5/8 nut easily. I removed the soft grip (parts washer softened it actually), easier to use I found.

I think the 12" Channellock will go to 2"

Regular 12" ones I have go to 1.5"

Ive been using the Lobster or lobtex Hybrid UM series for a number of years and they have done well.
Check them out.
100%

I picked up a small Lobster Lobtex in Japan on a whim, and holy cow, I should have spent more time and effort to find some more, uber tight, precise and I paid nearly nothing....grrrr

I bought a couple of the Klein adjustables about 10 years ago when they were on clearance at HD for $7 or $8. Been real happy with them.

What i ended up with.

Not a huge fan of the rubber handle, but jaw opens wide and is reasonably thin.
Want to say it was $25-30, but I can't remember.
