I did, all the hits it showed for my area code, you need to have a company account. they don't sell to the public! I'm just a 19 year old tech trying to get some good tools to fill the voids in my growing Snap on collection.

Looks like most of them will be a bit of a drive for you. The one in Montgomery would be MY choice. Why? Becaue it is nice country out there and nice folks out in that area. Go see the burbs! What ya got to loose! (Former Naperville resident.)

I was looking at the talk about the Supercombos and can't bring myself to believe that SO would make them any different, aside from the stamping. SO has a pretty specific distro network that needs to be subsidized somehow, and has pricing expectations from the industry, so I'm really thinking the supercombos are SO Flanks.

They aren't... Different design entirely!

Just make sure of what you are getting from PTS. I ordered a few Williams wrenches to fill in my metric set and I got the Taiwan-made Williams. Make sure you are getting US made. There isn't anything wrong with the Taiwan Williams, per se, but they aren't what I thought I was getting. I THOUGHT I was getting US-made Supercombo's to match the rest of my set...

That's very good to know! I need to fill in a couple of gaps in my set too and I ONLY want matching wrenches.

I bought the 12-piece set from matsuda on eBay & it came with:

JH Williams 1209MSC 9mm
JH Williams 1211MSC 11mm
JH Williams 1213MSC 13mm
JH Williams 1214MSC 14mm
JH Williams 1215MSC 15mm
JH Williams 1216MSC 16mm
JH Williams 1217MSC 17mm
JH Williams 1218MSC 18mm
JH Williams 1219MSC 19mm
JH Williams 1220MSC 20mm
JH Williams 1221MSC 21mm
JH Williams 1223MSC 23mm

The 10mm & 12mm are missing and I definitely want those, so I was thinking of getting the Williams 8-Piece Metric Wrench Set in Roll Up Pouch, Satin Finish from powertool-box.com as it includes the missing 6-8mm, 10mm & 12mm. I'd then sell the extra 9mm, 11mm & 13mm...

It sure looks/sounds like the same series, but they don't provide model numbers to verify!

Do I need the 22mm & 24mm too?

I liked Williams alot better before S-O took over and did away with everything that made Williams tools special.

I bought that set you linked to from Powertoolbox. It is the SUPERCOMBO USA set, but is NOT satin finish. Everything matches - the supercombo open end and the missing part numbers, which end in SC. The only thing that doesn't match is the finish, if that matters to you.

You can search for the 8 piece set on the Williams site (MWS-1B):

Had the same trouble finding a local source for Williams, I have been pleased with www.all2ools.com, the website is a little hard to navigate. The carry the entire Williams line, you need to select Hand Tools, then the manufacturer Williams. One tip, try entering the part number with out the - , this seems to be the trick for some of the part numbers (ratchets) and other require the -. The prices are around 1/2 of list, a WILLIAMS 100P-5MD, 5 piece phillips/slotted black hard handle screwdriver set is only $26.41, the look and perform (IMO) just like the Snap-On ones I have.

It does; I'd be pissed if they showed up full-polish after being described as "satin"... It seems they have simply re-assigned the numbers to a full-polish finish & I don't believe they even make the satins anymore...

Thank you for this info!
