Anyone have any thoughts about the year and value on this Wilmington Air compressor? It works just fine.

OK, I'm going to get a little bit more serious - by the obvious age and almost certain lack of maintenance, if it pumps and the pressure control works, that tank still needs to be pressure tested before use. I can't see if there is a drain plug, but if the owner was skipping everything else, do you suppose they were doing the mandatory drain of the tank after use? I don't want to sound like the safety police; heck, if you want to run without guards and good wiring, your choice, but if a tank lets loose, the danger is to anyone in the vicinity..

By the way, welcome to the Garage Journal !!

Drain on bottom it, has been drained periodically over the years. I know it's been in the same spot for over 65 years
