Hi all,

I just picked up this vise, however I don't see a date stamp on the bottom. Does anyone know what year(s) it is from?

Thanks,
Steve

According to the "Bluebolt database", your vise matches the Wilton 1750 Tradesman vises with date-stamps from the (late 1980's to early 1990's), .

A date-stamp is always the preferred method of dating vises, but sometimes that just isn't available. GJ member Bluebolt started a Wilton date-stamp database and I've been steadily adding to it. While the vises may look similar over a large period of time, there are subtle differences in the castings, and I use this information to create a time frame for the vise.

Here's the closest looking vise from the database, which has a date-stamp of "3-88".
