Wilton bullet with extended screw??

Is this a factory extended setup? I've never seen one and would like to know more.

Believe that is a "Wiltomatic" the extension is for an air operated foot valve assuming for production work. There are a few examples here if you search. Believe it is considered somewhat rare and collectible.

$500 for that? Really? Same seller thinks their 14" drill press is worth $1750 - I didn't know they'd legalized marijuana in Nebraska.
