I want to heat and cool a 20 by 28 foot gallery/studio. I paint with oils. I'm not planning on working in there. It's a storage building and a gallery for when people want to see my art work. I can't decide which kind of heater/air unit to put in. There are many opinions out there. Any advise on this situation. I have about $1,000 to spend.

It will be hard to find a mini-split on your budget, but you will like it a LOT more than a couple of window shakers.
