I am 16 and just purchased a Miller Maxtron 450 cc/cv power source. I have done mostly mig welding with my Millermatic 140xp, I will be running the new machine on single phase 220 and would like to get an arc setup and a mig setup as soon as possible. I got the welder for what I believe is a good deal. I would love to find a s22 or something similar but I am working on a tight budget while building 2 trucks. I found a couple older wire feeders (hobart, cobramatic) but wondering if they can run off the miller. Also the welder just came with the power source nothing else so i am wondering what it takes to get an arc setup on it, can i set it up so I can switch from mig to arc with a switch or something similar or do I have to change up the whole machine to switch form one to the other? Thanks, Matt

heres a link to the machine and wire feeders ive been looking into

The power supply essentially should be a stick welder. You just need to switch it to cc and hook up to your pos and neg.

Put a couple pigtails on the machine + and - with Tweco twist lock connectors, then you can switch from stick leads to wire feed unit, etc
