I have a ~600 square ft detached garage and am finally getting around to looking at heaters. I've found a few, but I'm stuck at wiring options. It looks like most are hardwired (don't come with a plug/cord). We have 240v outlets in the garage, so I'm hoping I can just make a 240v plug that connects to the heater then plugs into an outlet. Is this possible/recommended or am I simply showing my electrical ignorance? This seems easier since we already have the outlets, but I'm not sure if this is the correct approach. I've included an example heater below (no idea if this is what I'd actually get, but wanted to show an example).
