I just got a new (to me) heater and have some wiring questions. The specs are 240 volts, 6000 watts, 25 amps (1 phase) and 20,472 BTUs. Since the 25 amps is more than 80% of 30 amps, I assume that I will need to runa 50 amp circuit. My questions are:
1) can I use a plug with the heater since it is in a detached shop and not in a business?
2) What size wiring do I need?
3) is there a thermostat that works with infared heaters?
