Wood Shop Floor Coating

Most of the floor durability questions seem to revolve around automotive type shops and car garages, but I'm just curious if anyone has any advice or experience as to what the best floor coating would be for a woodworking shop that will contain industrial woodworking equipment. This is a hobby/ semi-pro shop for a professional woodworker, so the use will be well above a hobbyist, but not quite a factory floor. The shop is 30' x 52', was built three months ago and has fiber additive in the concrete mix. There do not appear to be any floor coating contractors in my area, so i will probably need to do the Prep and application myself. Any help from the forum sponsers or experienced end users would be appreciated.

Thanks

All the things about coating a floor for parking are applicable other than the hot tire pickup.

In my garage a park, do metal work, and wood work.

Last garage I used the cheap garage floor paint. Good thing is it cleaned up well and swept up well. If I scratched it, it was easy to touch up.

This garage I used epoxy. It was a lot more work to put down because of the working time.
Cleans up well, sweeps up well.
I have not had to patch it as I have no hot tire pickup and I have not scratched it.
If I need to patch it I will need to recoat the whole floor as I would not be able to match the floor with the sprinkle pattern

I put down a wood floor. Checks all the boxes from preventing that dropped chisel from being chipped to helping with the long hours standing. Very happy with my choice.
Cheers.

Hi, our standard www.armorcladepoxy.com system would work great in a woodworking shop, we have sold thousands over the years.

But...regarding the fiber hairs they need to be burnt off first with a landscaping torch otherwise the epoxy can create a 'hair gel effect' and they would stick up. Prime with matching primer also.
