Just a shot in the dark here, as I don't really expect this to sell, but why not try...
I have to get rid of a great workbench that I built a few years ago to make room for a smaller one. I would love to keep it until I have a larger shop where I can have more than one bench, but it just doesn't seem possible...
Needless to say this thing can't ship. It is located in Libertyville IL. I can assist with loading on your trailer, or you can assist me with loading on MY trailer and I can deliver (as long as its not too far) for a fee.
Specs: 96" wide
36.6" deep
42" tall
the top is 3/16" steel plate screwed onto 1-1/2" formica over MDF. I countersunk all the screw holes, drove in a few dozen screws, then filled the holes with weld and ground flat.
There is a 6" pencil/small parts tray along the back of the bench with exposed formica.
The framing is made of 2x6 with 6, 4x4 legs with with 2x6 horizontal supports and 2x4 diagonal supports, bolted together with 1/2" and 3/8" carriage bolts, plus deck screws. There is a shelf underneath made of 1/2" MDF.
Estimated weight is 300-500lbs. Never weighed it, but it is solid and heavy. I can't move it by myself.
There are 3, 2-outlet electrical boxes on the front. Everything else you see in the pics either on, in, or attached to the workbench are staying with me.
I really hate to sell it, and if I can't get my price I'll probably just disassemble it, wrap it in a tarp and store it in my backyard until I move...
$200--way less than the cost of materials... less even than just the cost of the steel plate top alone.
