WTB Barrett Brake Dokter

[Vintage Vehicle Vice]

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a Barrett Brake Dokter tool—used for arcing brake shoes to match drums—typically found in vintage or heavy-duty brake work. I have found this incredibly hard to find and would appreciate some help.

If you have one for sale, know someone liquidating a shop, or can point me to a lead, I’d really appreciate it. Located in Costa Mesa CA, but willing to pay shipping.

Dang, I saw a brake arcing tool over a month ago, first I've seen since the late 70s. Not sure it was a Barrett, but the seller confirmed my guess.. I'd think looking for a closeout of a non chain car repair that been around forever might be an option.



He also had a '34 Ford something off frame in the yard.
