WTB - one stinking Snap On socket!

As the title says, I'm looking for one specific snappy socket - a FM8A. It's no longer available on the truck and my dealer doesn't have any idea as to when they were made. Anyone have one in decent shape available? It's a 3/8" drive 12 point shallow 8mm socket. I lost mine some time ago and the replacement Snap On FM8 is shorter than the original (by 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch). Nothing wrong with the replacement, it's just too short and shiny for me!

I feel your pain. I'm missing one deep 12 pt Bonney socket - and the hole in the pegboard just ticks me off!

Just use it, and the shiny will go....

I here you on the shiny fading with use. If the socket would grow in length with a little use I would be one happy guy!

You should get the snap on socket stretcher and make it the correct length

I have a brand new 1983 model FM8 12 pt. Overall height is approx 0.9" Would that work?

Yet another tool I don't have and never knew I needed until now!

If the socket is 0.875", then I'll have to pass as that's the hieght of the new socket that I already have. The socket I'm looking for should be a full 1" in hieght.
