I have never had one that has held up for any length of time. I think they all ****. I dont need one more than 3 or 4 times a year so I just rent one from the auto parts store. They are lifetime units but they take a **** so often that I get a new one almost every time I rent one. I am usually all about owning the tools I use but not on this one. I thought it was the one I was renting but a friend of mine has a snappy puller and says its not much better. Just my .02$ -atari
