on your walls and under your roof. Can you keep it very warm while working in there on projects during the winter? I have a smaller two car pole building and have access to lots of double bubble right now. Nothing in it at this time for insulation just some eps under the roof. Just curious. Thanx

There is so much bad reviews for double bubble, which now I think comes in foil. No personnel experience just what I have read and seen on several Youtubes. But I have to say that it make be better than nothing, but I don't know if its purpose is for helping with temp control. More towards condensation control. Again no personnel experience, which I was also going to build a Pole Barn

It's not much at all as insulation, but....it's a great radiant barrier. With all the seams taped up it should work ok to help radiate your heat back onto YOU. 2 layers would be even better. Might be able to get it comfortable in there with a 30k kerosene heater.

bubble insulation is snake oil, pure and simple. The statements of R Value they list are completely bogus. They only thing it has going for it is the radiant barrier.

You would be much better off using 1" polyiso foam with a radiant foil face to the inside.

It's pretty good for an air sealer under the metal and water resistant barrier and does help a little for preventing radiant heat infiltration. It's not a good overall insulator.

With enough heater capacity you can heat pretty much anything. Now once you turn the heat off, without decent insulation all that heat is going to move to cold and cause the inside to cool down. Insulation preserves the heat you paid money for. Insulation doesn't stop the flow of heat but it does slow it down. The better the insulation the more it slows down the movement of heat to cold.

I had two 6x150ft rolls of it and stapled it up. If anything it has keep some heat down and its shiny so it reflects the lights well.
