If you love safety wire as much as I do, you’ll love this fixture. It provides a fast and simple way to drill bolt heads for your trick safety wire applications. It’s made out of aluminum and accepts bits from 3/16″ to 5/8″. Admittedly, there are tons of these on the market… I featured this one simply because I’m in love with Graham Tool Company and their marketing…

or you could buy the exact same thing from Pegasus Racing for $64.99.......

Graham shows a spray can of Break Free for $88 too. Must cost a fortune for that zotsy website.

Interesting but I can't ever think of a time where I would of needed this or even wanted it. Hell I can't even think of a time I used safety wire (I did look at a roll or 2 of it about a month ago in my grandpas tool box though).

inner primary bolts on a harley davidson.......if a bolt comes loose it can ruin your day :beer:

Work at a dairy certified (Food Grade) manufacturing facility and safety wire very common. Thanks Ryan for the post, the fixture is defiantly cheaper in the long run that buying the safety wire bolts.

If you have any involvement in racing, you will know all about safety wire. They REALLY don't like fluids and parts spilling on the track.

Tied bolts are used on DH (down hill) disc brakes and some MTB'ers still wire tie their grips.

personally i'd rather use new factory bolts pre drilled
