3 gang recessed outlet box

I am installing a recessed box that will have 120v and low voltage a/v cables. I figured I need a 3 gang - the 120v side has 4 NMC 12/2 coming in, nutted together and feeding a receptacle on the box (calculated box size 30 cu in), then the 3rd gang will be a plate to connect the av stuff. I found this arlington DVFR3W box, it has all 3 gangs molded together and has a divider to separate the low and 120v, but I need open space behind the low volt to feed the a/v cables, one is a digital optical cable that needs long radius bends. Is it ok to cut out the molded gang section behind the a/v portion? basically making it the inverse of the arlington 1 gang 120v/2 gang low voltage DVFR3C one?

DVFR3W:

DVFR3C

My other idea is to get a 2 gang Arlington DVFR2W recessed box and use it just for the 120v

DVFR2W

Than cut another hole in the wall and put in a single gang low voltage recessed box.

An important detail in figuring this out is there is already a hole in the wall that fits a 2 gang Arlington box, so i figure I need to make that bigger for a 3 gang or add another hole for a single gang next to it

Make sure there is enough hollow space in the wall between studs for the set up you chose. Technically you should not modify the box for your fiber but I don’t think any one will get upset

It might be "code acceptable" but I doubt "code" gives a sh** about alternating current interference on Cat5-6/CATV lines.
I've used dozens of the Arlington divided boxes with AC on one side and Cat6/5 RG6. telephone, speaker on the LV side. My buddy is an AV installer and he has installed hundreds maybe thousands.

There are 11 of them in my current house. AC and 2 CAT6 jacks in each.

No issues at all.
