This is off Amazon site. Zoro and a few others say USA. If they're not stamped USA I'm going to return them would prefer Snap-on even if I don't get as many sockets could probably get what I need for same money. I'm thinking they're USA though and Amazon f'd up....

I just read online I've have heard this before but it said, if the part number starts with letters like w1234 it's USA made if it's just numbers 1 2 3 4 5 it's Taiwan.
The set you got I believe does start with a letter.

I have 2 local stores that sell a good amount of the Grey Pneumatic sets. One of the two stores that sell GP has a onesie twosie merchandiser so you can buy individual impact sockets.
I have one deep 1/2”set from when I bought a used tool box and deep and shallow 1/2” sets in my cart bought locally. Plus, I have a good amount of 1/4” impact sets from Grey Pneumatic.
Everything that I have from them has been great.
How about PPE/eye protection?

The MS-14-24RC Set is USA made, you also may be able to save some money by looking at suncoast precision tools or abolox FYI, their regular pricing is typically better than zoro after the 20% coupon and they actually stock the stuff, snap on seems to have a huge backorder for alot of their williams stuff.This is off Amazon site. Ha! Zoro canceled my order I guess they were backordered the hunt continues... I may wind up getting the Snap-ons and just buy what I need. Almost all of my other sockets are Snap-on aside from the 1/2 metric impacts and I just bought a set of 1/2 metric ICONs to replace the Snap-on set I needed to sell.

I work in a small truck shop and many of us run both sunex and GP sockets and have never had an issue they are both cost effective enough a fella can have extras of a common used size we have beat the snot out of sunex and they keep on going especially the 12 point offerings they without a doubt outperform the snap on 12s

I also heard you cannot warranty them if you didn't buy them through an authorized seller. I have the duo set but I'm not hard on them.

Why the concern about warrantee? Impact sockets are cheap. If five years from now you've worn one out throw it away and get another one. You can buy five Gray Pneumatic or Sunex sockets for the price of one "warranted if we like you" Snap 0n and I guarantee you five Sunex or Gray Pneumatic sockets will outlast one Snap-On. Worry about warrantee on expensive **** not nickel and dime items. Boo hoo I broke a socket. Stand at an intersection and hold up a sign: "Will work for a 17mm." if you’re that broke.

I have been using the GP 1/4 drive metric swivels for about 1.5 years now. They're still working well.

It will reduce your exposure to risk without a doubt, but it won’t make you bulletproof. When this piece broke off this extension it shot out like a bullet. I never found it and my shop isn’t large or messy.
I‘ve been working with and around this sort of stuff for 50+ years with tools of questionable quality and never had a piece of a tool come apart like this so I believe it’s highly unlikely to happen again. That said, all my 1/2” impacts & extensions are made in USA now. Not that they’re infallible but there’s some value in my comfort level.

How would we know what your local stores sell? Pick up a phone and call your local tool stores and industrial suppliers, just like for most brands of tools that aren’t sold by the big local home centers.

I have that 10-36 MM set, as far as missing sockets/size's l don't recall needing what wasn't in the set.
Of course that's up to you! You did well on the Snap on set though.
Yeah, I ordered the Williams set but Zoro canceled the order... must have been backordered...

There aren’t any impact tools sold that don’t come with safety warnings about eye protection. Think about it. Hammering??? How many of you wear safely glasses? Unless you have prescription glasses. I was a journeyman heavy equipment mechanic for 30+ years and beat the hell out of impact sockets. Only cracked 1. Wore out a bucket full
Completed set. All the sockets are in good condition no owner marks. The 24mm has some surface rust, particularly inside. The 25mm looks to be in new, unused condition. I bought a Harbor Freight magnetic rack but it only holds 16 sockets so 27mm is on its own lol. Had to move a couple torque wrenches to another drawer. I really could use a bigger box...

I bought a set of 8pt Grey impact sockets for use on square plugs, they have held up well for about 7 years of fairly consistent usage. I bought them on Amazon. Mine are made in the USA, and a very similar in finish to my Proto Professional line of impact sockets.
