3/4” drive impact decision making

Hello all, I will be going back to spinning wrenches for my full-time job in a month. I have 95% of all the tools I need except for three-quarter inch drive gun/sockets etc. I will be working on agg equipment tractors/dozers etc.
I would love nothing more than buying an impact made here in the states, or at least assembled in the states. I know the IR 2145 is a phenomenal impact, but what are any and all options made in the USA?
I have been trying to research on IR’s new 2146, but haven’t come across country of origin yet. I was hoping it could be like the 2235 and possibly assembled/me here? Also, is the air cat 1600 made in Taiwan? Is the MG1250 still USA? Shine the light and educate me please!

Don’t waste your time on the Snap On one unless you just like buying expensive junk.

I like my SO 3/4 impact, have you had bad experience witht them?. It was the only one that I could find with an enertia brake, all the others kept spinning long after releasing the trigger.

Air or electric is the question nowadays, do have access to air to run a 3/4 gun in the field?

I don't think any of them are truly bad. Splitting hairs really. 3/4 and up, you don't really have underpowered garbage like all the **** you find in the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" space.

We’ve got the Proto J175WP 3/4” air impact at work and it’s been great. Strong as hell, durable, lightweight (considering) and well balanced. I wasn’t sure about it at first but it’s withstood the test of time and multiple users. We run it on bigass hose and Chicago fittings and it’s a beast. I’d get another one in a heartbeat.

Thanks for y’all’s time and input! I usually don’t buy used pneumatic tools, but I got a 2145 with some scratches/ minor scrapes. It came with a standard air fitting that I’ll be replacing with a high flow fitting. I almost picked up a used Proto J175, I’ve heard others that were happy with that one too.

What fitting should I install for max flow? I don’t know any details about the shop air yet.

Just testing it on my home compressor just to make sure in functions, the trigger isn’t very featherable like other IR guns I’ve used. It’s pretty on/ off. Is that typical for the 2145? Thanks again.

High flo hose and fittings will wake up any good 3/4 gun. Volume is key

The 2145 and most 3/4" and above tools are meant to use a 3/8" "Body" size quick disconnect as opposed to the 1/4" body. Use that size QD and you'll be good.

I use 3/8 fittings with 1/2 ID hose for all my stuff up to and including 3/4 drive and 1/2 fittings with 1/2 ID hose for the 1" drives.

Everything has snot until the air runs out.
