Yes I have the manual/parts breakdown from HF. Yes, I will be contacting HF and ask them about buying replacement parts.

But in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions for a "rebuild/repair kit" or otherwise know a source of replacement parts for the HF 3/4" Earthquake XT impact #62892?

Does anyone know if any parts for other brands/models are compatible with this HF impact?

Appreciate the help.

Edit: impact has been disassembled, but I need to clean and inspect for damage/wear. However I know for a fact that all o-rings and gaskets need to be replaced. Screws also need to replaced as they are stripped, but I was able to remove them.

Harbor frieght for the "most part" does not provide any repair parts for lower value items. The number used to be 400 dollars, I am not sure if it still is now.

for example, they only list a few parts for the 1" drive earthquake impacts.

See page 112

A thread about toolbox parts that had a workaround but shows HF policy.

and a fairly recent thread about the "acclaimed" earthquake itself

Most mass produced products use "industry standard parts". Often, the manufacturer hides the identity of the "industry standard parts" from the customer, so they can ask ridiculous prices for replacement parts. Harbor Freight may not sell you replacement parts, but they were kind enough to tell you the "industry part numbers" for some of the parts in your impact.

For example, part #5 is an o-ring with 4mm ID and 1mm cross section. I would buy these (25 for $1) at oringsandmore.com
If you don't like the cheap price, McMasterCarr will sell you the same thing (100 for $8).

Exactly the advice I was looking for. Good idea. Thanks.

You just picked that up, right? What’s the backstory

Got it from a coworker at the shop, he picked up a new 3/4" impact from MAC. Supposedly it's 5-6 years old. Definitely oiled, but heavily used.

Thanks. I will look into that.

FWIW with my IR 2145 which the HF looks close to if I oil it I have to take it apart because the vanes stick and won’t pop out. Clean and degrease them and it’s golden. Maybe it just needs a good cleaning and the seals and screws that you said were damaged and it’ll run again well.

For the record, the gun works. But as you can see it's been run hard and put away wet (quite literally). My intention is to simply clean it and give it a tune-up.

Hopefully I will get some time tomorrow to work on cleaning it up and inspect for any worn or damaged parts before I order anything.

I'm almost done cleaning the gun.

Good news is there is very little if any signs of wear on the internal components.

Bad news is I called HF and they have absolutely no parts available for this impact. I will have to do the research and replace anything with after market components. However some internals seem to have Chicago Pneumatic forging stamps, so that might help.
