I've seen a few posts in re this post but we're older ones. Didn't want to revive one. Or is that the preferred way.
Anyhow in those posts I didn't see one like the one I found this morning.
If I'm correct it's from the 1930's. Just wanted to share.

Really cool! I've got some old Craftsman ball piens, but nothing that old. They were really nice hammers in my opinion, as long as they had the original handles. I've never seen any with replacement handles as nice as the originals!

Can't, soon as my wife saw it after I cleaned it up it she claimed it . Lol
I've had that same problem! My wife started her ratchet collection on her own, when she started finding cheap ratchets at flea markets, her first was a really old and nice 45170 SK for 25 cents. Then everytime I found an oddball she claimed it. She does the same with any small tools. 4 inch adjustable wrenches, small machinist tools, or anything else she decides she likes! Haha

Welcome to GJ, and good of you to ask.

The preferred way is to add to existing topics, which reduces redundancy, the total number of threads, and the splintering of topics across multiple threads, which confuses discussions and makes it hard to find things later. As you can see, the forum is chronological in descending order, and only so many threads fit on Page 1. All the other threads are hidden, pushed to Page 2 through Page ***. In a few days, your thread will be "gone." To counteract that set-up and to aid in knowing what those threads are, there is a Sticky at the top of the Forum with an Index of the most common and popular threads in A-Z order. If you scroll through that Index you will see a thread for 'Craftsman Long C (1920's to 1948)' tools.
Anyhow in those posts I didn't see one like the one I found this morning.
I'm not sure what posts you're referring to, but if you're interested in seeing other examples of Craftsman ball-pein hammers marked on the cheek with that clipped Long C in a circle logo, there are many in many different sizes posted in the Long C thread. Click on the Long C link in the Sticky Index, then search the thread on 'ball-pein' or 'ball-peen'. Only posts with those words will be presented to you.

That’s pretty cool. I robbed my dad of all his Craftsman tools. He was happy to give them to me.

FYI I recently posted these hammers on the Long C thread.
