Hi folks, I did some searches but didn't find what I am looking for. I just had a new floor poured for my storage building. The saw cuts are about 1/8" wide and about 1" deep. I plan on using BallistiX Acrylic Sealer Ballistiseal PRO, on the floor. I would like to fill the saw cuts before I seal the floor. I expect to be rolling some heavy tractor attachments on dollies over the floor and I would like for the edges of the saw cuts to not crack and chip when the dollies roll over the cuts. What do folks recommend I fill the saw cuts with. TIA

If the dolly wheels are rubber, I can't imagine they'd put enough pressure on the edges of 1/8" saw cuts to crack or chip them off, if I'm wrong, I'd think an epoxy would be needed - which wouldn't expand when the concrete does crack at these control joints.

If they're really small wheels or maybe steel, I guess they might.

I just used caulk on my joints, looks good in some areas, crappy where I was sloppy.

If you plan on filling prior to coating then be sure to check with coating manufacturer to ensure compatibility between filler and coating, if filling post coating pick a product and go for it!

I called the vendor, they said NOT to use any silicon based caulking as their coating would not stick to it. They recommended their 2 part flexible joint sealant.

We always used Sonneborn NP-1, Self Leveling and the Non Self Leveling at the ends to stop it from Running out!
It Lasts a long Time and Very Professional!
