I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this question about electric motors, but it's as close as I could find...

Does anyone know the difference between electric motor frame sizes 145T vs 145TC?

I'm thinking that the "C" has something to do with the end of the spindle shaft, but I'm no expert on electric motor frame designs; hence, the question.

Thank you kindly for your time.

A motor with the frame number 145TC tells you that the motor is on a 145T frame with C-face installed. The T stands for feet. So if you ordered a 145TC frame motor, you get feet and the C-face on a 145 frame.

Thanks for the post. Some of the "C" motors I looked at looked like they mount flush to what they drive -- i.e., a vertical jet water pump's impeller housing. It also seems to me that some of them didn't have feet. Does that mean that you can order, say, a motor with a 145C (no T) frame size?
