Oh, tell us more about the dart! Small block or Rb?
I am going to NJ tomorrow and really it will be the first time I have seen the entire car. Bringing it home on a trailer............It has been in the garage for at least 45 years. I will take a ton of pics, I am pretty excited to see what shape it is in. It has a 426 hemi and slicks on it. My FIL bought it with 2 miles on it and from what I know, it was never put on the street.

some of these I pulled out because of a conversation several days ago:
Giller USA ignition pliers - no part number marked on them. Meteor SAE ignition wrench set w/ vinyl roll-up came with a Japan-made pair of Igarashi pliers. all three appear to be NOS stuff.

I couldn't pass up the 46010HD Indestro 3/8" drive 10mm 6-pt deep well.
Don was kind enough to send the Indestro combos, dbe, and the "Chromium Vanadium" stuff and a yellow-handle 360 driver with some sockets - very cool.
The little Indestro 1562 vise arrived broken - not sure how that's going to shake out.
Don posted a little Gormully & Jeffery caliper about a week back and it was so cute I had to find one for myself... that makes 2 pieces of G&J I own now... one more and I can call it a collection, right?
;)

thanks Don!

Will be interesting to see the pictures of the Dart. As far as I know the only Dart with a Hemi was the 1968 factory super stock. If you got one of those it's worth a fortune.

Got these to replace my older milwaukee brushed tools.
The M12 stubby 3/8 replaced a hex drive m18 so I added the hex adapter to the stubby to compensate the loss of the m18 hex drive. Both the older ones were brushed, I gave them to someone starting out.

I have an older M18 1/2 impact but its too heavy and not much power. Rarely ever use it.

full set of cheapo deep/shallow 3/8 impact sockets to avoid needing to use 1/2 to 3/8 adapters.

The air hammer insert tool above the extension bar is a nut breaker. $400 for the lot.

Haven’t bought anything in a while, too busy working gobs of overtime. Cashed in some Tekton points before the price increase. 2 sided rubber mallet, 1/2” drive deep 6 point 27mm socket which completes my full Tekton rail of those, and a 36oz dead blow ball peen I’ve wanted for a while. 9F7A7806-75D4-4A1D-87F1-0553625F33EF.jpeg
How are you liking the Tekton 36oz dead blow ball peen hammer?
Thinking about getting one.

The square shank got me. I've never seen one of these before, but I found it online. Indeed a trim tool...

Yes this is it! It is relatively new, I just recently discovered that they exist. I haven't encountered a need yet, but I have almost exclusively owned Volkswagens so it's only a matter of time.

My turn to buy a random individual socket. ;) Ok, not really random & I didn't absolutely need it but I wanted it. Genius Tools 1/2" 21mm semi-deep. I have their 19mm which I do need for a specific application. Gonna use this 21mm for my lugnuts. These are the only semi-deep sockets I own.

3 pack Husky knives. $22 in store, $18 on the HD website, asked to price match in store & they did without question. The last 3 pack I bought over 10 yrs ago. Of all the folding ones I've used in the past, I like these.

$15 right now with coupon. Good price but I'm having buyer's remorse now. Thinking about it I don't think I'll ever use it. I'll probably fine using my PowerProbe. Good thing I didn't open it yet, think I'm gonna return it tomorrow.

Chuck handle. Well technically it's a pin vise but it's much larger than pin vises I'm used to. ***** that no name brands make a nice full size screwdriver one. I knew the General Tools one is no longer made in USA but I ordered one to see for the heck of it. Yup, absolute garbage, every part of it is disappointing, made in India. And it cost $5 more than the other one, back to Amz it went. The orange black one is generic China but surprisingly it's not bad at all. I'm actually pretty happy with it. Clean threads, smooth action, 5/16" capacity, jaws appear to be powdered metal but they hold shanks straight.

After all these years, I finally got a chrome 6- point set in 1/2”. They sure are pretty, but Stanley sure doesn’t give you a very good rail

Maybe not the best, but it’s FULL and COMPLETE. You go putting those on a Hansen or similar rack and that starts a cycle of obsessively chasing after the missing ones and all that! 😄

Love it. Will probably end up making it a full set in the future.
Thanks,
Must be a Wiha day. I decided to pick up a second set of the Wiha screwdrivers Lowes has marked down to $15.97. Wanted a set for inside the house as I’m tired of cheap Stanley’s that strip every screw I use them in. Used the Wiha’s yesterday and today. Wow. I thought my Klein and Greenlee’s were nice. These Wiha screwdrivers are even better!
My store and a few others have/had knocked them down to $11.97.

Picked up a bunch of random Wera sockets in 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" drive. Torx, hex and some 6 and 12 point sockets.

This is one of those things where the pricing is so good, you don't want to let these go to waste. I've got some more coming in over the next week and then I'm going to see where I'm at. My plan is to bring the duplicates back to the States next time I'm home so that the wider community can benefit.

Finally received this Gearwrench set I ordered back on December 11. It was on sale for $99. Then it was backordered, then it was available in store, then it was available online again.

That was a month ago. I suppose I should be glad they didn't cancel my order...

My first ratcheting wrenches.

Lowes sale got me. I literally do not need anymore screwdrivers and figured I'd give these impact bits a go. The Dewalts I've had for nearly 20 years are getting worn out.

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the blue and red Wiha bits, in terms of performance? Or is just a Lowes branding thing?

On a side note: To whoever invented this blister pack for Wiha tools, I hope you made a lot of money, died a slow painful death and had your inheritance sealed in this type of blister pack thus making it impossible for your kids to open it.

Wiha SoftFinish screwdriver set, 5pc. Made in Germany
Wiha Terminator Blue Impact Bits. Made in Vietnam, in Wiha's 100% owned and controlled facility, to German ISO/ANSI standards.

Speaking of not needing screwdrivers this is why. I already have the Vessel Megadora 900 JIS screwdrivers (non-JawsFit 1x75, 2x100, 3x150) and just completed the set with the Megadora 900 slotted (5.5x75, 6x100 and 8x150).

These are my go to screwdrivers now.

Where are you getting these? If it’s online I might have to check out shipping to the US.

Nice, where'd you get the non-jaws version from? I'd like to get a #2 and a #3. The length wouldn't be all that important to me.

Just a word of warning: The smaller 3/8" drive Wera hex bits with the retaining ball are not strong enough. I can't remember the exact size they start becoming problematic, but I want to say we used to break the 6 or 5mm ones all the time. They rupture right where the ball is, and they will fail well below the max torque for a 5 or 6mm SHCS. The bigger sizes didn't seem to have an issue.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I've had a tough time tracking them down.
NP. They're aimed at those who work on restorations & collector vehicles, etc. I don't have such vehicles, I have the jawsfit ones & they don't bother me at all. I can't ever recall them damaging fasteners to where they are noticeably visually unpleasant.

I like the jawsfit, they don't slip. For really tight screws they do their job well at gripping them when you need. Slipping out will cause more unsightly damage to a screw head. I've also got Wera laser tips & a Bluepoint bit set that have similar teeth. None of them have let me down & made me want to not use them anymore. The Vessels & Weras have currently been my gotos for the past some years.

Plus it would mess with my head if I had a mix of teal Megadoras with jawsfit & non jawfit. Lol. But as they say, to each their own as well as depends on what you work on.
